The Markets at Saint Jean de Monts

Thanks to the wonderful Vendée climate, there’s numerous regional specialities to sample at the local markets.

On the menu are oysters, seafood, Vendéen gâche, potatoes, préfou, Vendée ham, trouspinette... amongst others!

The Saint Jean de Monts market is held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings in the town centre and a summer market is held every Monday and Thursday morning on the Demoiselles beach.
